i have been planning a trip for my bf, son and i to disney world this spring, and then a couple vacation for us in the summer. he hasnt participated in the planning for either nor does he seem excited about them, and loathes going to disney world openly. he mentions a few days ago he wants to take a 2 wk jaunt to italy in the fall, and few days later states that we will have to either cut short, or not go on one of the vacas i was planning, so he can go to italy for 2wks with his bro. this is not the first time, he went to vegas alone when we first met and then went to visit fam in conn where he and his bro took off to ny, boston, etc. i was upset b/c i have never been to ny, boston, etc and would like to enjoy with him. same thing with the italy trip. my compromise was he chose a place that im not terribly interested in and go there with his bro, and to try and get excited about the vacas hes taking with me and my son. is this unreasonable?

Yes, he sounds like a selfish jerk who is quite possibly cheating on you. Going with his bro might indicate he is bi-sexual as well. Bail quick especially for the kids sake.

It's totally unreasonable for him to vacation with his brother and leave you at home. You need to involve him in the vacation planning though. If he wants something more exciting, maybe you could plan a skiing trip. All the places have lessons, but the main point is don't tell him to just go along with it, find something he'll enjoy, too.

After you wrote this down to ask us are you figuring out now that he is not in love with you. You are just a conveinent stop while he runs around and finds fun in bars and with other women. His disrespect for you is so blatant and obvious that he should get kicked to the curb the day before an "important" trip he has planned for himself. Then sit back and watch him fume and haw. Can he talk his way back in your door? Please don't be that desperate for a man that choses to abuse you to your face like he does.

I think he's gettin some on the side whenever he can.
It's one thing to take a break from one another, but to do it every time you go on vacation? To vegas? (Sin city) Come, on.....
Not much *** over 18 except parents at Disneyland is there?
Jus sayin......I'd be takin my gf everywhere, I mean, Italy? That's romance capitol of the world and he doesn't want you to go?
