I'd stretch the budget a little and get a Canon Powershot A630. Go to this article and read the whole review to see why:
http://www.steves-digicams.com/2006_reviews/a630.html
The SD600 is a good choice, also, but the A630 has a larger sensor and that usually translates into the "WOW" factor that you are looking for. You can check out the SD600 at Steve's Place also.

Be sure to look at the sample images for each camera. Personally, I like the quality of the A630 shots better. I don't see as much digital fringe (purple halo) around the subjects and, although I don't know what aperture was used, I like the bokeh (character of the depth of field effect) on the A630 MUCH better and this is definitely a function of the larger sensor.

I bought a Nikon Coolpix 5 MP camera at circuit city about 2 years ago. It only cost about $200 including a year's worth of warranty and a 128 Mb memory card. I still use it and it's pretty small. It can also take video about 3 minutes or so depending on the memory size. It's easy to use and the design and pic quality are pretty good. If you're looking to buy a digital camera then I would definately recommend a Nikon.

Sounds fine. If you feel like it's too small, and have extra body weight, there is proof that the skinnier you are, the more likely your penis is to grow (due to scientific stuff you wouldn't find the least interesting.). Also, it makes it appear bigger. If you don't have weight to lose, hang in there. Usually, size ranges from 3''- 7'' (adult male, erect) so you're pretty good for now.

For great build quality, excellent photo quality, great handling & ease of use, excellent 'movies', stunning high res. LCD screen and so very stylish & 'sexy' looking....you can't go past one of Canon's new compact SD models.
SD700 IS (6MP, 4x optical, image stabiliser) I have this model and it looks very stylish and performs extremely well.
SD800 IS (7.1MP, 3.7 optical, image stabiliser, wide-angle lens)
SD900 (10MP, 3x optical)
They come supplied with a rechargeable Lithium battery & charger.

I cant give you a specific model # because I dont know exactly what you want in a camera. I can tell you that I much prefer Kodak digital cameras. They are alot easier to use and are excellent quality cameras. They have easyshare too which I really love to use. The software that comes with Kodak is really good also.

Olympus, general all around quality plus I don't want one too small to operate, the Kodaks are good and the printer dock is neat but the photos tend to be dark and need software to enhance. Check your "consumer's guide".
