Why stop there? Why not pick their eye color? Their hair color? When are people going to quit being so selfish? Yes, that's criticism, but I really could care less that I probably just annoyed you.

Are you looking for natural ways of increasing chance of a girl ?

Artificial means :
1. IVF : That way you can be certain you are going to have a girl.
2. Adopt a girl!

Gender selection has a really negative connotation because in some coutries, people undertake selective abortion on the basis of ultrasound scans. A horrible practice, imo. Also, in these countries, there is a strong male bias and usually female fetuses are aborted.

Good luck!

Well...you could always go the natural route. It worked when I had my son. The days to conceive a boy is day 10 from the day you start. Having a girl is more like day 14. It has something to do with the speed of swimming sperm.
This is free.

You'll have to use in vitro fertilization (IVF), and the clinic will have to agree to perform a preimplantation genetic diagnosis (PGD).

I don't know where you can have it done, or what the cost is. But I do know that it's very expensive--somewhere in the ballpark of $15K a cycle, with no guarantees that implantation will take place in any given cycle.

Natural selection is free. :)

Lab selection requires growing and storage of embryos, where they are sexed and then later implanted. Upwards of $20,000. But then you have at least seven other embryos that will just sit in storage.
