i mean what will happen if i run so many processes or programs whose cumulative memory need exceeds available RAM

If your memory needs exceed the RAM and you have disabled Virtual paging then your PC will crash. It is not recommended that you disable virtual memory.

I agree with the previous posters. It is not safe to disable paging file. Your computer will crash if the total memory the programs want to use exceeds the current memory you have, in this case 768 MB. Better to have a paging file and not use it, rather than needing and not having it.

No it is not safe. though I dont believe that disablig paging wil crash the computer, however it will refuse to run applications when it is short of memory.

I would avoid win os in the first place ,as these are more memory hungary then linux . Try linux , its free. its cool, its fun.
