If I run for 20mins a day, is that enough exercise to help lose weight? About how many calories does that burn?

I can't really tell you how many calories that burns. It depends on how fast you run. But, it's definitely good! A common recommendation to improve fitness is 30 minutes a day, 3 days a week... so doing 20 minutes a day is a great start!

Consistency is the key though.

It really depends on the intensity of the run and how many calories you are ingesting each day. We would need more information on your diet and how fast you are running (e.g. running, jogging). What I can say is that you are improving your fitness level and exercising to burn calories. I applaud you for that. Also, don't be discouraged if weight does not come off immediately..you have to be persistent and consistent in your exercise. Best of luck.

It depends on your weight and the intensity of running. Try using this calculator from webmd.
