4 eggs and 2 T of sugar are beaten and folded into 12 oz. melted choclate. These are the only ingredients. The receipe is called choclate lave cake. In the picture the appears to be a thin cake shell over the choclate lava that spills out. They are baked for 15 min. in famekins or molds and turned upside down after baking. I find it hard to believe the cake can be made without using flour. It could be that this is just a very thin shell of cakelike matter over the lave but it has me stumped. It looks wonderful and I want to make it but can't see how the finished product as pictured can be accomplished. Help please. Thanks

Yes, that's the recipe and it's technically more like a "custard" than a cake.

It works. It is a kind of chocolate omelet with sugar.

I know it seems crazy but it does work and I have also a nutty (sic) recipe for peanut butter cookies without flour that every on raves about;

2 cups peanut butter
2 eggs slightly beaten
2 cups sugar or can use 2 cups Splenda
1 teaspoon vanilla (optional)
Can put chocolate chips in the dough or not

1. Heat oven to 350 degrees.
2. Mix peanut butter and sugar until creamy.
3. Beat egg and add baking soda.
4. Add egg mixture to peanut butter mixture. Mix well.
5. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheet, 2" apart.
6. Dip a fork in sugar and make a criss-cross pattern on the cookies.
7. Bake until slightly browned, but still soft to the touch, about 10 minutes.
8. Let cool on cookie sheet for 2 minutes.
9. Transfer to wire rack until cooled.

it's chocolate lava cake
and yes it works according to all the chefs on tv. You bake it in ramekins, or muffin cups. Yes I think it will be great. Go to foodtv.com and look it up you may get some more info.
