i find this a very humiliating condition. in fact, i do not love this individual but if he were to show up anywhere near I'd be attracted to him but it's only physical not emotional. why does this happen when I do not love him because I know his kind.

Just try not to see him as much... if at all.

Sounds like just physical attraction. Which is completely natural. This probably goes without saying, but you know you have something good when you have that physical attraction plus attraction for who they are as a person.
It's bound to happen to everyone I imagine. Someone just looks appealing to you, it's just a physiological reaction had in their presence.
