I think , progressive Christians running for offices are like wolves in sheep clothing.Somwthing the liberals thought up to win last November.

Just because someone is a Christian does not make them the narrow-minded republican we all see on TV. I know several that are more progressive (ie liberal). It's not a made up thing - you can be both Christian and democrat.

That is an oxymoron. Christianity has not progressed in 2000 years, nor can it. Progress only comes when you outgrow the make-believe worlds of childhood and mature into adulthood.

well they have to seeing as the republicans broke the countries core and started mixing religion and government. I say government needs to be totally secular. But no, the term was out there forever. From the time luther perfected the religion, to Calvin, to Wesley.

Yes! The left "thought it up" and then sent it to those "false churches" and they are all a big scheme by "the left" to fool people into thinking that Jesus cared about social reform, feeding the poor and prison conditions.

Well, it seems that once again I am in the minority, but I will vote for a progressive Christian anytime over a "Born Again" conservative. And that is my OPINIONATED opinion
