No, it isn't. What you do is avoid answering the question. If you say yes and s/he finally discovers you lied, they may never believe you again.

If he's young then yes. What kid don't want to believe in Santa Clause. They'll find out on their own that Santa isn't real and I don't think he'll be mad at you for lying. But if he is older then No Way.

When I was 14 I still believed in Santa. On my 15th birthday my older brother told me there was no santa clause and I was very saddened.
I suggest you don't tell him

Well personally i think that its alright, depending on his age. Because letting them belive in something thats good has no real wrong doing. eventually he will find out that sana is not real but i think for the mean time it wouldnt be a bad idea. think about this he'll try to be good all year round. if not he'll get cole. that actually was the reason i was good when i was younger *chuckles* when i fount out he wasnt real, i was like ..oh. nothing to big though. just go with the flow. if he really takes intrest in santa being real go along with hem. good luck.
