Having a hard time right now — and a lot of posted questions, so sorry if this seems redundant or pathetic, there are people in the world with much worse problems than mine, I know, but it's hard when you're in the center of your own disfunctional mind. I've been having high level anxiety related to upcoming job, decisions, etc, I'm trying to hold it all together but I need to do something tonight for me that would help — I'm kinda in a crisis. It's not just a matter of relaxing I guess, I need to solve something. What could I do? Sometimes it feels worse to talk about it to people, it feels like it makes stuff more 'real.'

When your mind is racing, and you cannot focus, Just say "Stop" do it over and over you will teach yyourself to make it stop.

Then focus on external stimuli anything to get your mind off it

then " Get Over IT"

The first thing to do is find something to be grateful for. We all go through hard times (I'm out of work right now.) Do you have plenty to eat, a place to live, people who care about you?

I care about you, even though I don't know you. You have worth, but you just need to recognize it. Do something positive, right now. Listen to music that you love. Go outside and appreciate anything in nature that appeals to you (even rain, snow, sunshine, a weed growing out of the sidewalk.) Find a small restaurant and just watch people for a while. You will find someone or something that will make you smile and feel better.

Most of all, don't give up. This too shall pass. Go to the link below and have the sound on.

You are blessed.

Yes you have posted about your anxiety and depression many times. There isn't anything anyone here can do to help you. YOU are the only one who can do that. So go get some professional psychiatric help and stop posting this over and over....There is no magic cure or pill that will make you suddenly feel better.

You poor thing. I empathize with you. Can you find something to take your mind off it for tonight until you can perhaps talk to someone about it tomorrow. Someone like your doc that can give you some medication to get you over this rough patch. Ignore people who tell you to stop posting questions. You aren't hurting anyone by doing so. This is your space as much as
theirs. Report them if you feel they are being abusive.
