Foe example, it is in human nature to be sexual. Why do religions prohibit masturbation, premarital sex. etc??
If God is the one who created us, does He not know our human nature?

The thing that makes religion so special is that people still have free will and choose to practice religion. Just because its against the law to steal doesn't mean that you incapable of doing so. In most religions, mostly the Abrahamic religions, it is beleived that God likes those who are most obidient to it. Sexual behavior is not prohibited, its just that one has to have sex under the law of the religion, like marriage. Its also human nature to lust; in some people's nature to lie, some to be lazy, some to steal, some to eat whatever they see, and some to not clean themselves. Religions don't necessarily state that you absolutely don't have ability to do these things, just that you're recieve God's favor if you abstain from them for fear of God. Does that make sense?

Your first and econd question.... To obe God, and our religion. Also masturbation and the likes is something very dirty/filthy. So we shouldstay away from these filthy actions. Self control over our desires. Its the devil persisting us into doing i for the pleassure, and enjoyment. And we should refrain from doing that. Coming back to the command of God.

God tells us not to take intoxicants, such as alcohol and tobacco and the likes. We should stay away from them. He does not want us to have any sexual relationship between women without marrige. Then we should abide by that, no questioning what so ever. That same applies to your questions. We are told not to, simple the end, just go by yor religion if you have one.

Thank you.

As humans we are naturally lead to sin, God is aware of this. The religion of Christianity centers on the life of Jesus who was free from sin. Christians devote their life to becoming as much like Jesus as they can, as free from sin as they can. Adultery is a sin according the Ten Commandments listed in Exodus 20. My personal study has yet to convince me that masturbation is a sin, however many Christian denominations do consider it sinful.

Peace :)

Not all religions do. The only rule in Wicca is " An' it harm none, do as you will." And as far as I know none of the things you listed harm anyone at least I haven't heard of anyone that actually did go blind from that.

Being sexual isn't human nature, it is perverse nature. Neither is self-pleasuring. It is human nature to have sex with the opposite sex, and God allows us to do this in committed relationships, which, studies have shown allows humans to develop meaningful and complete relationships with others thus resulting in a fulfilling and happy life. God has given us guidelines to help us towards happiness. It is that simple.

Because with masturbation, your sperm is wasted and the Bible tells us to marry. Yes God knows our human nature, but we are also tempted by the devil, just as Eve was.

Religion is a form of social control. It's that simple. By telling people not to do something they're likely to do, you 'make' them sin, and then you gain power by insisting on measures to get back in God's good graces.

It's also human nature to react violently to offensive behavior.... should that not be repressed?

Part of our lives here on earth is to learn self mastery over our bodies to show we can control ourselves enough to go on to learn even more and greater things. If you can't learn to control your own body then you definitely aren't ready to move on. God does know these things, as he himself had to learn this.
