Why do many homosexual men marry straight Christian women?

Isn't this directly opposed to their "beliefs"? Seems hypocritical to me if the majority hate Christ, the Bible and it's message. Any explanations here?

How can the woman be the blame is she didn't know obviously? Nobody in their right mind would volunteer to be someone's front for normalcy or baby hatchery or risk a broken home, etc. Get real! I've really witnessed this several times and want serious answers not Christian bigotry. Thanks for those who were at least half-way serious.

I think it's because they really are not comfortable with being homosexual and that homo spirit has such a strong stronghold on people, that they just can't control it, so they get w/ a christian woman, who prays and they are hoping that they may delivered from that lifestyle thru their wife prayers????.........

Uh which are you asking? Your head line reads why do homosexuals males marry christian females connoting that the males (who prefer men) seek out and marry females (who besides being christian, are NOT males). The second part is even more confusing. Homosexuality is a sexual preference not a religion and it doesn't have a belief system -- except that the same sex is more desirable than the opposite.

There are several reasons (well as many reasons as there are people who do this) that this might occur: 1. Social pressure on the gay to fit in, so they marry a likely candidate, who may or may not be a christian, 2. They're not sure of their sexual persuasion prior to marriage.

I strongly doubt that there is a concerted effort on the part of the gay community to "seduce" God fearing women.

I have a relative, now dead, who was a homosexual man. He was raised in a time when people like you had much more sway in the lives of gay people. So, he did what society said he was "supposed" to do and married a Christian woman. He was also raised as she was - very religious.

He could have been a happy person. He could have been a fufilled person. He could have worshipped his god with love had his god's book accepted him as he was - and as he had no choice in being.

But instead, his life was destroyed because he spent it trying to deny who he was. His wife, his children, his grandchildren... himself... all desperately dysfunctional because society told him that what he was was a bad, bad thing, and try as he might he could not change it.

Shame on you, and shame on everyone like you.

They do this because they hope to emotionally destroy these women when they tell them after several years of marriage and a few kids that they are gay. Plus it insures that they will get to produce offspring.

This very act proves how evil and despicable homosexuals are! I wish we could have the bible as law like the muslims have sharia law. Then these evil homosexuals could be imprisoned or put to death!

IF, and that is a big IF, this happens, I think it is probably because these men are trying to live a life that they are not born to live. Why?
