You can become infected with HIV (a virus which leads to AIDS) through the following fluids:
-blood
-semen & precum
-vaginal fluids
-breastmilk
It is transmitted in the following ways:
-blood-to-blood contact
-sex (anal, vaginal, and oral)
-injectable drug use (through needles)
-mother-to-child (through pregnancy, delivery, and breastfeeding)
Tears, saliva, and sweat do not transmit HIV. If you are having sex, use a latex condom correctly and consistently. See avert.org for plenty of easy-to-read info on HIV/AIDS. Hope this helps!
