For potty training, take the dog outside at times he's likely to need to go. First thing in the morning, after mealtimes, when it's been a while, etc. Wait on him a while, and praise a lot when he goes.
Watch him carefully when he's inside until he's trained, and if he starts to go, just hurry him outside so he knows what you expect of him.
To train a dog to sit, the easiest way with most dogs is to use a toy or a treat -- whatever your dog is most interested in -- and hold it up over the dog's head. When his eyes are on it, slowly move the treat back over the top of his head toward his back, so that you guide his nose to point further and further upward. Say the word "sit" slowly and clearly while you do this. The idea is that eventually the dog will sit down to make it easier to look up. The moment the dog's butt touches the ground, give the treat/toy as a reward and praise.
Good behavior is just something that will come naturally as a result of living with an owner who is kind and predictable and communicates his expectations clearly to his dog. If you've not trained successfully in the past, try training classes and research, and keep posting your questions.
Good luck!

Try a basic obedience class. It helps. Use potty papers and train him to go in one spot. Consistency is the key - you have to be consistent. Taking him out at the same time every single day will help put him on a schedule. Try not to vary his feeding times, don't load him up on water before bed etc.
I had a MinPin for 13 yrs - she recently passed away (Oct 28) - she was an awesome dog.

House training has been pretty easy for me. Get a metal kennal, or cage, whatever they're called. I used the comand 'box' The puppy sleeps in there and is in there while you're not home. As soon as you get up for the day or upon arriving home, open the box, pick up your cuddly puppy and take it outside to go potty. soon the dog will get into the habit. stick with it, it'll get there. As far as other behaviors and commands, patience... keep working with your puppy. never yell or hit, they don't get that stuff.
Have fun
