If you put a single strawberry into the microwave you may blow out the magnetron as there is not a sufficient food mass to cook without destroying the micro. If you put in a plate of strawberries they will surely cook up into a nice mush for you.

One time I put a frozen strawberry in the microwave because I didn't feel like waiting for it to defrost naturally. When I took it out it got mushing. I wouldn't try putting a strawberry in the microwave if I were you.

It would heat into a lovely mass of hot strawberry goodness!

Add sugar before microwaving, and, after it cools you would have refrigerator jam, a fresh, delicious substance that you will love on toast, pancakes or with peanut butter!

Try blueberries, too!

Best wishes!
