Kudos on loving a man w/a disability. I am so happy you two are in love.

Unfortunately, I don't think there is much YOU can do to get him & his mom together if she's never really cared for him. They would need to work this out between themselves.

Best thing to do is support your man as much as possible. Be there for him, as that seems what he's been missing all his life.

He's very lucky to have you girl!

Arrange a dinner with all of you. Tell them if they don't want to sit next to each fine but they will be in the same room to talk things out. Even if you have to get things started. Tell them they are going to talk and hash everything out and neither is going to leave until things are resolved. Stubbornness can ruin a lot of relationships that don't really mean what has happened. Deep down inside they love each other even if it is just because a Mom and Son thing. If nothing can be resolved then maybe it is best that they go their separate ways. But they both need that chance to find out. Good luck and my thoughts are with you.

If his mother has "never really cared for him", why try and get them together. Your boyfriend is probably insecure because his mother does not care for him - thus he is "clingy" towards you, plus he is deaf - does he use signing? If so, learn how to communicate with him and help him to make a life, minus "mom"

eh! What did you say dearie? LOL:) just kidding, and there's little you can do to change the behavior of others, perhaps by partaking in some fun activities with all involved would at least make them aware that you are concerned...

Don't push things. It could turn ugly. If there is a problem between him & his mother then don't interfere, it could ruin your relationship & what's left of a relationship with his mother.

Get out while you still can, girlfriend. Nobody wants a clingy man.
