do everything you can to avoid a fight

if necessary tell a teacher or your parents

everyone should learn some self defence - it can be a simple course - it doesnt have to be martial arts as such

if you are cornered and she attacks you and you have no choice then try and be as dirty as you can - scratch, bite and kick

pinch, punch her breasts and genitals - stick your fingers into her nose and eyes - scratch - kick her shins - pull her hair and ears

bite - anything you can including her lips, yell loudly at her

do not try and fight fair nor get into a punching exchange - remember bite scratch and kick

I hope you can avoid this fight but if not do anything to protect yourself

The basic key to fighting is with your mind, there are going to be problems with fighting at a young age, and with stupid people, luckily for you you will get older, and hopefully smarter, if you've been avoiding the fight, and putting it off, that is good. If you can get out with words, do it, it is a higher state of mind, and elevates you above her, leave weak people like that in the dirt. If it does come to fighting, don't do it in a public place, don't do it with anyone watching, don't make it a social occasion. This is a thing between you and her, if it is an ego fight or some other useless reason, then quit reading. If you have a legitemate reason for fighting, e-mail me, telling me your reason for needing to resort to violence, if it's a good one, i'll tell you some ways go give you a definate edge, it may not make you win the fight, things go wrong all the time, but if you are in genuine need of help i can give some advice.

I have studied for years on how to fight and I have never used it. This is personally the best way I see it. I will learn everything I can to win a fight but the best thing to do is avoid it in the first place. She keeps talking about a fight but has not followed through. She is trying to intimidate you. Since she is making threats, report it. This is basic and almost no one does it but it's worth a shot. Next get yourself into a martial arts class to learn to defend yourself so that when the time comes you won't have to. Your confidence will protect you.

Good Luck

Go train with Chuck Liddel, Bruce Lee, Joe Lewis, or train in the Shaolin Monastery in China. They will teach you how to fight. Good luck!

Or you can just tell the principal, or your guidance councelor. You are not a wuss, you are female, and fighting is uneccesary. Stay away from the girl and if she engages you directly, repeatedly tell her that you dont want to fight. But if she starts fighting, grab the girls hair(which will give you control of her head and upper body), then strike to the head repeatedly.

You need to begin taking martial arts as soon as possible and not for preparation of the fight. One major aspect that you will gain with diligent practice is self-confidence. When someone exudes self-confidence, as weird as it sounds, people shy away from trying to start fights. If you get to a point where you must defend yourself you will then also have the tools to stop the fight fast.

I got in to a lot of fights when I was in school but they magically all stopped once I gain a level of confidence in myself. Beware the quiet ones.

Never go in to martial arts with the intention of fighting(with rare exceptions such as Judo or Jujitsu, they are sporting arts), part of martial arts is discipline, in fact most people refer to the different arts as a discipline. You must have discipline in order to use you skills ONLY when necessary.
Perhaps fighting is not the correct answer for you anyway, is there any other way you can resolve this issue. I don't know the particulars so I can't give advice on the situation.

How do you defend yourself?

Do not be a fool and fight only if she strikes you. For if you fight you have already lost.

Ponder on this.....

I don't, fighting is for the weak minded. The man who strikes out with his fist, is a man without options. Just walk away and don't lower yourself to that persons level
