To be honest. I wonder why?!
I wonder why would you be a Muslim person.
I wonder why would anyone be led by a person who was not so great. Went to war. Caused the death of many people, and people are still dying because of his preaching.
I wonder why do Muslims make excess to all the wrong that their prophet did, and at the same time think he was perfect, and he was far from that.
I don't like Islam because of Muhammad, but I do like the Muslim people, because there are to many of them who are good people. I don't judge them by what some of them do, that wouldn't be fair.
Why? why for God sake would you be led by a person who would not do what he teach. his life was not clean, his marriages questionable. That is what pops among other more.
Of all people why would God pick a person like Muhammad to lead any group of people. He was not so nice, he went to war, killed. Would any one tell me why would a prophet from God own slaves, he bought them and sold them like property and used them as his own tools.
There is so much wrong with his life I don't know where to begin.
I truly wish you peace to you, and us all.
Add:
For those who gave me a thumb down. That was my opinion and I don't force it on you. I answer a question, and don't care if you are a Muslim or not. I say live and let live. You want to be a Muslim, good luck to you. I am just telling you what I pops in my mind. Be nice, please.

I am a Christian, and when I hear "Muslim", I just think of a different religion than my own. I know that a lot of people have negative views of Muslims because of the extreme things that happen around the world, but it is such a small number of people involved in those events. It's not fair to think of every Muslim in a negative way.

What pops in my mind is that Muslims believe That Allah is God and Mohammed is His prophet.
And I believe that in God and Jesus is His Son.
And Jews believe that God has no Son.
And we all seem to go back to the same family line as descendants of Abraham. We are the Monotheists or believers in One God.
We have some things in common and some not in common.
I don't believe we should judge one another.
The Bible says, "God knows who are His." No one needs to take His place.

What pops into my mind ? Suicide belts, women and kids being blown to bits in market places, Shiites murdering Sunnis, Sunnis murdering shiites, Mullahs trying to become dictator, men who value a mule more that his wife, people who refuse to leave the medieval ages, people who blame everybody and everything but themselves, people who wear robes and turbans because Mohammad ( peace on him ) wore them, but enjoy all kinds of luxuries that Mohammad ( peace on him ) never had.
I'm happy for you for being proud. When I think of the millions and millions of Muslims and the centuries they've been in existence - - - and then wonder what they've ever invented, what they've ever done to make the world a better place, I come up empty. A big fat zero. All invention has been done in America and Western Europe. Proud ???????
