I look at it as if we (the human race) were all drifting out at sea in a lifeboat. We can either work together and live or we can kill each other for food.
I'm an optimist and think that eventually we will learn to work together (though sometimes when I watch the 6 o'clock news I think I might be nuts).

Whats the alternative? Turtles? Earthworms? Man has the biggest brain of any animal. Most neural connections. If you can't have faith in your own capacity to think, you're pretty much lost.
