I recently took a flight to the annual Jar Jar Binks convention in West Horton, Ohio. I did not want to pack my Jar Jar costume as it is extremely expensive, but it wouldn't fit in a carry on, so I had to wear it. First, the search at the airport was a human rights violation. The airport security was very rude, and made me give up the two blasters I had on, then got mad at me because of my elaborate costume, saying it took so long to search it held up the line. Then when I finally got on the plane, the stewardess said I couldn't wear my Jar Jar mask, and the two people sitting next to me (I was in the middle), grumbled because my costume took up too much space and had stuff sticking out. After takeoff, I got in the aisle, put on my mask, and danced and yelled to entertain the other travelers. The stewardess tried to stop me but I ran screaming down the aisle, and then dove into a bunch of peoples laps. I was restrained for the rest of the flight. Do you think I can sue for harrasement?

Nope, flight attendants have the authority to restrain anyone causing a scene on the plane. Besides, no jury in the world would find in favor of someone who is a fan of Jar Jar Binks. I would try and get you declared incompetent by reason of mental defect.

No way. You could have fitted the costume into a bigger suitcase. The airport security had every right to serch you. You didn't look like an ordinary person. The thing with the blasters sounds kind of wierd. A fake blaster can't do anything to ham anyone! I would hate it if something someone was wearing was taking up too much space. I would also be very embarressed to be sitting next to a person dressed up as a Star Wars character. You did not have to entertain the other travelers. They had things to entertain themselves.

Ah, man! How come I never get the chance to be on flights like this? My flights are so dull. Good job on trying to entertain the other passengers. Should you sue? Hell yeah! People sue for everything else. I don't know if you'd win, but with the right lawyer it's worth a shot. Just be sure to go to the hearing in costume. Now that would really impress the judge!

I tell you I fly a couple times a year. I don't think I would want someone diving into my lap or my husbands lap. I wouldn't want someone to have a mask on either. I do everything they tell us to do when we go through security. I take my shoes off. I do everything they say to do. If you have a problem with that...then you shouldn't fly.

It was the last day in Hawaii when they made this no liquid regulation. I just repacked to go home the way they wanted us to. I didn't want to have everything taken from us.

Your rights were obviously violated and you should win a bazzillion bucks if you sue. After you went out of your way to make the flight entertaining for all they tie you up like a freak. Call Jessie Jackson and the ACLU and have them make the airlines apologize for being so insensitive to you and your beliefs.

Sorry, but any abuse directed at Jar Jar Binks, or to anyone who likes Jar Jar, would be found to be totally acceptable in any court of law in the world.

You might have had a case if you were dressed as Yoda.

I dont think so cause they had the right to do all that because of security reasons. Plus, an airline co, U know your asking for it. They prob have a million and one lawyers. I know it sucks. sorry u had to go through that.

You have too much time on your hands. That's hilarious.
No, you probably can't sue...

Next time go 80% naked and mail your costume. It'll take less time for them to search you, and the stewardess might welcome you to the mile high club.

Ha...lol That's great. I don't think its possible to sue the airlines unless you've been damaged in some way but you sound like a bunch of fun.

No...I think you acted selfishly. You didn't take anyone else's comfort into consideration and you want to sue for harrasement? That's beyond ridiculous!!
