I have been on five Caribbean cruises, winter, spring and fall, I try to stay away from the summer months because of the heat. The last cruise I was on was in October 2002, when there were 3 hurricanes in the Caribbean and it was the smoothest cruise I'd ever been on. You just never know how the seas are going to behave, so I would go with the temperatures that you enjoy the most. If you have young children, (3 and up) Carnival has the best children's program, I have eleven grandchildren and they have all cruised and they just love camp carnival. By far the best if you are traveling with children, and teens. The price is reasonable also. Have a great vacation.

Lowest price is January! February is school break, March is spring break, April is Easter Break, and May is graduation vacation. Cruise lines have it covered. If you want the lowest price and the best service, contact me at dena@thecruiseplanner.com

If you don't have the stomach to cruise during hurricaine season, then try the first week of December. Typically lower prices then.
