Are there any special prayers that you like to recite when lighting the candles?

I do! In fact, I had to replace mine this year cuz my beloved one from my college days finally fell apart from all the use and moves.

I don't really have any specific prayers - although there are some out there - but as a musician I tend to sing my prayers anyway. I often sing a verse of "O Come O Come Emmanual" or some other Advent song like "Ready the Way" or "People Look East."

My mother has an advent wreath. She's had it for years. She doesn't recite anything, just lights the candles and stands for a moment to look at how pretty it is.

Yes, we do.
We follow the same pamphlet for the past 40 years.
Dad reads, Mom lights the candles.

(Before my divorce I read and my wife lite the candles we used a newer pamphlet. She has custody of pamphlet now, also my son.)

We have two (one is my personal one). No, we don't really recite any special prayers out loud. We say one in our hearts.

Me and my wife have been married for about a year, been together for about two years. We are both in our early thirties. she recently became a lawyer and now she thinks she is too good for me. She wants me to give up my favorite hobby and says I need to get a job. My hobby is collection Jar Jar Binks collectables and wearing a Jar Jar costume as I walk around town. While walking around, I like to bring joy to people. I go into stores and throw potato chips or other foods around, I dance in front of cars that are stopped at red lights, I knock on random houses doors and do Jar Jar quotes and dances. This takes quite a lot of time, several hours a day. How can I find the time to get a job? But my Jar Jar collectables are very expensive, and my wife gets all upset when I buy them with her money. Then she flipped out like a crazy person when I suggested we use the Jar Jar costume during our lovemaking. I can't live like this. Why can't she just let me live my life? Should I divorce her?
