No, yoga embraces Eastern philosophy/Hinduism which cannot be completely separated from the exercise, stretching, and breathings.
It brings an unBiblical worldview. Yoga teaches you to "empty yourself". God teaches us to be "filled" with the Holy Spirit.

I don't see why not, as long as the themes don't contradict basic Christian principals. Yoga, meditation, even Reiki are all find for Christians. None of these insist on praying to or worshipping someone other than God.

You answered your own question with your comments afterwards. No, Yoga is not for true Christians. Yoga does incoperate new age ideas, as ones who began all that, are into false gods and new agey teachings that they can become gods and all kinds of other non Biblical stuff. and you are to empty your mind and let all the new in. NO< I dont empty out my mind for anyone. God gave us truth and its just there forever. Why would any Christian be willing to do that, and risk letting the nonsense in? Yet, I know many who claim to be Christian that do > BUt, God tells us to flee from false gods. ANy religion without the doctrines of Jesus < GOd says are false and an abomination. and we are to flee, and not even wish them well.
SO , a true follower of Christian obeys God and ALL He says, and will have no part in yoga or any of the other relgions like that, and yes it is religion. But, there are great exercise programs tht are Christian, that lead to health and wholness, they are super if you find the truly Christian one. Just because ppl and churches use the Christian label, doesnt mean they are. God says by their fruits (actions) we will know them. Not in the word Christian, what comes first CHRIST. its a follower of Christ and His teachings and loving Him enough to obey. and do so glady knowing He knows best. anything less is NOT christian, its just using the label. God sayd He will not know them when they call. Thats dangerous stuff. to obey the word of God, we must know it, Start learning today. Its like a big puzzle of little pieces going together to form a huge big wonderfully beautiful picture of all of Gods plan for us. Each piece of new learning is a big thing, and daily you see the picture emerging and its just so beautiful, just like all God creates. Dont let non believers or phony Christians from ever finding out all God has for you. Start today.

The yoga around the US is mostly an exercise program with some serenity type meditation. It isn't dangerous.

Of course it is, yoga incorporates exercise, breathing techniques, and meditation, and does not incorporate any religion, even though it was started by the Hindus, it is totally non-denominational.
