I asked a question about this girl girl who is 19 & I 26 on Monday & one of the answers said that is a 7 year difference leave her alone. What is wrong with that? In love, age doesn't matter, in love, looks don't matter, only what's in the heart. Why do people not see this? Age is just a number of years you have lived your life on earth. Love is ageless, never fails, goes on for all eternity.

I have never been in a relationship before, never even dated. I am still a virgin. And I think sex is for after marriage, so it is out of the option.

As long as she is legal, I say do what works for you. It wouldn't be any different if you were 37 and she were 30.

Lots of people feel that a woman under 20 yrs. old shouldn't get caught up with an older guy because she's unlikely to be ready for the interests and desires in the life of a 26 year old guy! She ought to be choosing a college, meeting people and going on dates with people around her own age. Older guys are often faster and their relationship/sexual expectations of a female are not typically what a 19 year girl will be. You're not a molester for liking a 19 year old, but give her a few years to LIVE! With older guys, she's more likely to end up pregnant and messing up her life before it has a chance to begin. Men don't typically put a girl's needs or wants into consideration, and that's a shame.

Someone probably lived the heartache of learning that there is a VAST difference between the emotional ages of a 19 year-old and a 26 year-old...I myself look back on the person I was at 19, and cringe sometimes at how arrogant and stupid I was...please don't take this to mean that all 19 year-olds are arrogant and/or stupid, but I definitely was, and I wasn't alone. If this girl you care about is as emotionally mature as you are than by all means, go for it, and I wish you well.

Is the age difference the only reason? If so, if you two like each other..it shouldn't be an issue. She is 19..which means she is legally an adult. I don't see why you should not see her. Maybe there are other issues that the parents or friends are thinking of...perhaps they want her to go to college and meet other guys...I would continue seeing her as long as she is cool with it. If there is love there...age will not matter in the future...esp since the age gap won't seem to be that prominent.

Well, you wouldnt date a 16 year old would you?? As long as they are of age I do not see anything wrong with it however I think people should stick in the realm of their own age group though.....What do you think about a 26 yr old dating a uh....56 yr old??? Thats sick......but in your case, 19 and 26, its cool.....

Whoever said that age isnt but a number, they are right but when it comes to relationships, age is an important factor

i so agree with you about you opinion in the age thing....it is true...if you think about it if there was no law about an adult going out with a child, it would have not been such a big deal the way some people think it is.i wsay screw all those peoples that said to leave her along, you leave her alone whem she tells you that she dont want to talk to you.
