No, she won't outgrow it. She's bored...get her some stuffed animals and raw hides...also, the bitter apple spray suggested by the other answer works well....when you punish her for chewing what she's not suppose to...immediately give her something she is allowed to...eventually she will learn what she is and isn't allowed to chew.. always make sure she has enough different toys to keep her attention! May want to crate her when your not paying attention to her....will save your clothes and furniture! As well...a crate is like a dogs "safe" place.....never use their crate for punishment! My dogs go to their crates to sleep, even if the door is left open...it's their bed....

By nature, dogs need to chew to exercises their jaws, to clean their teeth and to massage their gums. There are dog-friendly products at your neighborhood pet store that she would be more than happy to chew instead of chewing your clothes and the sofa. For an added treat, try letting her chew on your hand/finger while wearing a leather glove. Its a great form of play and it will bond the two of you closer while she works her "hand" out with yours. Good luck.

I don't think so. I have a 2yr old black lab. She loves to chew. Just get her something that she can call her own to chew on. NO human things, eg. shoes or socks. Some dogs love to chew out of boredom or what I don't know. Just make something hers to chew on.

Get that bitter apple spray stuff. I think they still have it at petsmart. After a while she'll stop.
