Beauty isn't everything. Beside, men who cheat have some other issues going on. Maybe it is about control, feeling important and/or attractive, not comfortable with real relationships, trust, ect. Not all men cheat. In fact, I think less men are likely to cheat than not. Age makes a difference too. Just try not to generalize too much.

I will never understand why anyone cheats but I would guess that deep down inside he is too insecure to believe he deserves to be with a beautiful woman. He is afraid she may leave him at any time and he is afraid to be alone. He wants to believe he has a "fall back" if things don't work out with her. Subconciously, he may be trying to sabotage the relationship he doesn't think he deserves.

He has a wandering eye. He can be with the most beautiful woman, but will always cheat on her. There is really no explanation for it.

for women it is about looks- we think that we have to fit a certain image and ifwe don't measure up we will be cheated on. That does not matter much to men- it may be the physical attraction that initially gets their eye , but men are like little boys inside- they need attention, encouragement, they need to feel like they are loved, needed and appreciated. They can have a supermodel at home but if she doesn't compliment him every once in a while, miss plain jane at the office can hook him fast if she is attentive to his needs and makes him feel important.
I am not making excuse for cheating behavior and some men are so undisciplined that no matter what a woman does he is going to stray- but there are those out there that really have no intention of cheating but because of lack of communication, feelings of unworthiness or feeling not needed , loved or appreciated- the woman that brings him a tin of brownies or compliments him one his suit , or just sits and listens to his problems is going to get a lot farther with him that the wife who is drop dead gorgeous and turns every head in the room but does not attend to her husbands emotional needs

He is selfish and doesn't know what he wants. It may also be her attitude, her performance in bed. Anything can intrigue a man to cheat. It is the way a man is! Some are faithful and some aren't. It is life!

I think it's because it gives them a self esteem boost. I think they need to feel wanted by a lot of women, but I also think it would be great if they were being flirted with and accept that as their esteem boost and not go all the way with another woman.

Probably because it mistakenly makes them feel like a real man which it doesn't. Real men don't cheat.
