old biblical laws are always so interesting. selling daughters and women, stoning people who do wrong, hanging and killing them if the offense is right. how much you should pay for slaves and stuff. what a wonderful book. all children should know these rules....?
dont u love their argument on how the ot is no longer applicable, only when they want it to not be applicable, by stating that the NT disregards those laws.

Since the Church didn't exist in the time of Exodus, I'd say no.
Buy the TV, throw a little less into the plate, and invite the preacher over for dinner and to watch the game every now and then.

The Lord probably wants you to watch TV on a 27 inch normal screen and keep your daughter.

You could have the answer to your question if it was a question and not a lame attempt to come against the Bible. besides we both know you have never tithed, and that TV was in your living room while you wrote this "question".

No man sorry, if you live in America than slavery is against the law, and by breaking the law you are sinning. Also, tithing is not nessesary, just give what you can, if you give to god god will give to you.

That is SO funny! Why don't you start a career as a comedian and you'll have lots of money to tithe?
NOT!

well tith means tenth. I don't think you can give God a tenth of a slave. You must give a tenth of all the increase that God blesses you with.

Reminds me of the story my pastor told last night at church...
Two men got shipwrecked on a desert island. The first one looked around in a panic and began to proclaim "We're go to die!!" The second man simply replied, "Don't worry about it, I make 2 million dollars a year."
The first man looked at him and said, 'Don't you understand, we have no way to get off this island!!" The second replied "Don't worry about it, I make 2 million dollars a year."
The first man starts to yell, "Don't you understand. We have no food, no water, no electricity". Again the second man replied, "Don't worry about it, I make 2 million dollars a year."
Finally the first man screamed, "How is that going to help us here?"
The second man smiled and said, "I'm a tither. My pastor will find me before Sunday."

Sadly slavery is no longer an option...but you could always stand on the corner and ask for donations until you have enough to acquire your TV.

To Marvin R.: The church isn't who's paying attention to what you give... it's God. He doesn't miss anything, He'll notice.
