I bought myself a Canon Digital Rebel XT, which is too much of a camera for a beginner like myself, but I love having the best!! (yes, I know XTi has released).

My problem is that whenever I take a picture, I find that my pictures are always slightly tilted counterclockwise... which I find annoying!! Does anyone know why that is? A way to correct it?

Also maybe a website that goes into photography technique? (I know that I can find 500k+ sites if I run a search... so I prefer if you recommend a site that you have tried, something that will help me get an end result like the ones shown on http://glamourshots.com/).

I realize this is more than one question, so all feedback is appreciated!

if their always tilted the same way, it sounds like the sensor may have been installed slightly off. The rebel isnt really as good as its cracked up to be honestly, and theres been a few problems with them being built shotty. Take it to a real camera shop and have them take a look.

Your problem may not be that difficult to fix, either you are taking the photos tilted, by slightly tilting your arms to the left, and the result is tilted pictures.....or if its on a tripod, then maybe your tripod is slightly loose....when it comes to fixing it , you can simply crop the photo a little bit, but before you go a long with the crop, tilt the highlighted area to the right until it looks even.Good luck

elysianphoto is right. Simply look at your screen to see. Zoom in if you need. If you are not satisfied, retake the photo being careful to hold your camera verticle - use buildings or poles as a guide. If you have already left the scene, most photo editing programs allow you to rotate the image. Just do that until you have it straight and crop as elysianphoto said

Try using a tripod if you can...otherwise find something in the view besides the main subject and line it up either vertically or horizontally in on the LCD.
