Hi there !
"anything which is more than the normal level can do damage to your system rather than doing any benefit..
let it be spices, or oil, or salt or sauce or sugar anything !
so take everything in the right proportion at the right time in the right way....your metabolism will be "the best"...okay ?
best wishes...

I don't think it has anything to do with your metabolism. When you eat spicy or hot foods your body releases endorphins into your system making you feel really good. It also thins your blood.

There are 3 things you can consume that have negative calories, as in your body spends more energy to process them than they contain:
1. Hot sauce.
2. Celery
3. Ice water (your body has to work to restore its own temperature)

I also heard adding a 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon to your diet every day speeds it up too and helps maintain blood sugar levels, so good for diabetics too

It does so by raising your body's temperature. Like turning up the heat on an oven, your body begins to burn more calories
