Doesn't everyone by now know that there is no way that Jesus Christ was born on December 25th? Also, there is no command or instruction to celebrate Christmas, nor did any of the apostles do such a thing. EVERY single aspect of Christmas, including the very name is of pagan origin. The name itself is Christ's Mass, which is from the Roman's famous church.
Don't follow this pagan belief just because everyone else does. In fact, if you celebrate a pagan filled holiday, you can't consider yourself a Christian.
Open your eyes, search the truth, and don't just believe.
Imagine a bunch of men deciding to copy a man-made false holiday to a pagan god, and then making it into what we now know as Christmas. We don't have to imagine. This is exactly what you are all celebrating.

Western Christians (Catholic & Protestant) celebrate Christmas. It was originally a pagan celebration that was Christianised by the Roman Church in 322AD.
Eastern Orthodox, Armenian and Coptic Churches do not celebrate Christmas at the end of December. They have a similar celebration of Christ's revelation to the world in Early January.
A number of smaller groups such as Adventists, Jehovah Witnesses and some Scottish Calvanists don't celebrate Christmas at all.

Yes there are. Not many but a very few. I used to be one of them. It's so commercialized and retail oriented. And when I found out that it was originally a pagan holiday, I stopped celebrating it for the Lord. But it hurt my children so I started again shortly after I stopped. Even though we did other celebrations and fun things on Christmas to try to make up for not doing the gifts, I felt I had gone over board on my zeal to be a perfect Christian. Now I realize that being a Christian is love and not the letter of the law.

I am a christian. I am also an Israelite.
Rom 9:4 Who are Israelites; to whom [pertaineth] the adoption, and the glory, and the covenants, and the giving of the law, and the service [of God], and the promises
The reason why I don't celebrate christmas is this
Read Jerimiah 10.
Christmas is not supported by the bible of the God of Israel.

Yes, Jehovah Witnesses and other Christians that don't think that Christmas was the real issue, its about His Resurrection ... Christmas has been celebrated even with non believers/pagans alike.

I dont like Christmas because my family always ruins the meaning of it. I celebrate the fact that it is about Jesus but I hate spending it with family. They ruin every holiday because they are greedy and never satisfied with their presents. It is pathetic that they do not want to celebrate what it is really about.

Yes!True Christians KNOW that Christmas is not Jesus' birthday. It is just a pagan holiday brought into the church by the catholics. The true birthday is in Oct.

I don't!
Materialism, commercialism, greed, a tree, Santa Clause, gifts, debts...all in the middle of winter. I really don't see what it all has to do with Christ. Everyone knows it's not his birthday - and that even if it was he never said to celebrate his birthday for him. -and "Cork" - it most definitely is not a teaching of Jesus to celebrate his birthday - the Bible never even says that he did while here on earth. "Traditions of men" is all it is.......

I hope not. Christmas is the reason Christians believe what they believe... Jesus' birthday! If they don't celebrate Christmas in some way, they probably aren't really Christians.
