If you are not related by blood, it is perfectly fine to date. It would be different if you were raised together as brother and sister, but since she just met this person and doesn't think of him as a brother, then it seems to me to be all right to date.

My lil brother is the same. Unfortunately, he's 16 by now and I`m 18. He doesn`t say those things to anyone except for myself, but not so often. He gets angry way too fast at the stupid things and whenever it's something serious, he's all calm. I question his logic on that, but he has no answer for it. I think he's with some inner-demons, but I still need time to try to help him with that. If he were gay, I guess it would explain why he acts that frustrated, but I am myself and I try to maintain peace in myself. Everyone calls me weird though, because I`m not social. I think it's more about how spoiled he is. Electronics have been proven to make people depressed and with it, irritation and the like. Its the side effects of being too far from nature. You see, tell your mom to research something called the Schumann Resonance. You yourself won`t have to learn it until you have your own kids, but for your mother, this is important.

Wow, that is a bit of a different situation. As long as their is no blood relation, it is legally OK. It would be strange for the mutual brother though. He would have to explain that his brother and sister are dating each other. If the relationship did not work, it would create all kinds of difficulties in the family. Well, what ever happens I hope your friend finds happiness.

It doesn't sound like they're totally unrelated. If it's her brother's brother then there is some relation in there. And it will be weird at family reunions, that's for sure... I'd say no. Don't risk it. What if it turns out that they are related by blood, in any way? Then things will be very weird...

Okay...now, do you mean the girlfriend and the brother's brother aren't related by blood?
Either way, it's still wrong. It's family.

If they are not related, then how can they be her brothers? What do you mean about 'estranged' brother? You're not specific enough in your question.
However, if they are in 'no way blood related', then of course it's okay.

It's a grey area. Genetically, no, there's nothing wrong with it. Socially, there could be a lot of tension in the family as a result. Best to pass on that one, but it's not genetically creepy like dating your cousin. But it raises some eyebrows and could make some people uncomfortable.

If they have the same father they are related hun. I think that it is wierd though. They could have some of the same genes and if they were to have a child the child could come out with downs syndrome

If the girl and the brother's brother don't share any parents, then I see no problem with it. Although it should be interesting at family get-togethers.

It's a bit weird... I'm assuming it's her half brother's brother. As long as they aren't blood related I suppose it's ok.. but I mean... that's your brother's brother.. That's kind of hick-like.
