Well.....let me think. I know an illegal immigrant who's being in the country for five years. She is 2nd in her junior class (5.8 HPA, 3.97 cumulative GPA) in high school, she has received numberous awards and invitations to summer programs, she's becoming tri-lingual, her family takes vacation like any other family (in fact, she's being in NYC twice unlike many of her fellow classmates), she has a nice house, good parents, a lovely culture, and pretty much a brilliant future ahead of her. The only difference is that she's not a legal resident and that she was born in a different place. I would be jealous if that was not me. Why don't y'all take your racist and stereotypical ideas to another place? To begin with not all immigrants are criminals. To continue with, some pay taxes (like me and my family). To add to that, many come to succeed and stay and be just like any other American citizen. Oh, and let me tell you something! She didn't come through the border! If you're asking yourself how that's possible, consider this: the government needs the illegal immigrants and has therefore decided to let some just come in through the airport as any regular tourist. Basically, so far, I have been on a five year vacation. Isn't that long? So, do me a favor: stop putting up unintelligent anwsers!
Note: I'm not an exception in having found success. ;-)

The only way I am jealous is that they are allowed to break our laws, but go unpunished, and have people excusing them, saying they are too poor. . .
So if you want to get away with anything in this country and have people defend you, you have to be poor in another country - screw you if you are a citizen in this country. Poverty is not a defense if you are a US citizen.
Sad, isn't it??
