this guy and i have had this thing for a while now, and he used to like me (it's basically proven... big, major signs) but we're both really shy and we haven't talked together for so long... and i don't know whats going on. i've noticed that whenever he sees me, he gets kind of tense... and freezes up. My friend says he gets really nervous when she says my name. He'll stare and listen to me closely, but when i try to initiate eye contact, he'll turn his head away from me immediately. . . once in a while, he'll keep eye contact for a while, and theres look in his eye that makes me melt... it's like he has something to tell me, but i don't know what it is. If we ever talk, he'll stare at my lips. I know it's hard to tell since we haven't talked for so long, but do you think he still has feelings for me?

Assuming you don't know of him seeing anyone else, just go ahead and ask him out. If you're too shy for that, maybe let one of his friends (who you can trust) know that you wouldn't say no if he asked you out.

Sorry to say so but to me if it has gone that way for quite a long time, I wouldn't start something.
I have met guys like that quite often when I was young and now I would say such shyness is a sign of being unbalanced.
It could be he is lightly autist.
Since Rain Man, many people have a wrong idea about autism, of course even RM was a highly performing one.
But extreme shyness, avoiding eyes contact, trembling hands and so on are signs, I can tell you...
It is up to you to try but this seems a bit of a big challenge.

the question is do you have feelings for him and intrest of a relationship? Once you answer that to yourself I'd go striaght in for the kiss obviously he isnt and things should blossom from there once he knows you "going out" maybe he'll loosen up knowing its ok to react to his desires. atleast you know he wont be all over anyone else unless he's a good actor some guys know that attracts women beleive me theres a lot of good players out there to degrees you cant even imagine, anyways he likes you go for the kiss and then talk about it if you want it I doubt he's just looking for a friend w/ benefits maybe talk about it its so much easier. a guy did that to me once and when he got what he wanted he wasnt shy anymore and was a jerk and actually like made fun of me you'll meet all kinds just be prepared and dont set yourself up for disappointment that really sucks Good Luck KIMBUR

It seems like he does and it seems like you still have feelings for him too. Since it doesn't seem like he will approach you, you will have to be the one to first make a move. Talking might be too much for him, although I would recommend it. Maybe a small note of encouragement from you to him would be a step in the right direction. Definitely smile any time you see him.

Its for sure that something troubles, and all his signs show that he has some liking for u.jus ask him openly why is he so uncomfortable or nervous when he sees u.maybe he will try to hide himself from telling the truth.give him time to open up himself,if not u jus try som tricks like admiring som other guy in front of him.from his reactions u will know whether he has feelings for u or not

Hey just go up to him and ask him if he is going to ask you out. That will break the ice.
