Thanks to everyone who has answered. I went to the dentist and he gave me penicillan (sp)... My eye and inner ear are infected... he's recommending a maryland bridge.

yes mr . fuse untreated 2nd bicuspid infection can really spread not only to eye but also even to ur brain and may even lead to death in certain circumstances .
this is all 'bot spread of infection from one fascial plane to another , infection is carried out thru the blood vessel ( particularly in ur doubt by angularvein to eyes and to cavernous sinus in the brain .
so , use antibiotics and get the treatment done either root canal treatment or extraction , but neve neglect , if u r old age the chances fro risk r high , don't ever neglect .

YES! My husband got an infection after dental work that made his entire side of his face swollen and his eye on that side close. He needed to take IV antibiotics and was hospitalized.

It sure can! Get treatment right away; you shouldn't mess around with this! Call your dentist and explain to the receptionist what's happening, and they'll work you in.
