I think it is very unsanitay for my new husband to let his kids take bites off his food like a hot dog for example all I can think of is their dirty hands on the food as well as their plaque and germs
in their mouths all four will eat right after one another.Is it unsanitary and can you get germs by eating and drinking after people .

It's their dad.

Some people are a little more germ phobic than others.

Do you kiss your husband? Because you'd get his germs too. Is it that you're offended by his children's germs?

I would caution against expressing this because his kids may begin to see you as a threat for thinking "them" gross. And ergo begins a long line of trouble.

I can tell you that if a man ever expressed to me he thought it gross that my daughter takes a bite out of my hot dog, especially if he kisses me, I would take serious offence and probably drop him like a hot potato. My fear would be that he has hang ups I'm just not prepared to deal with, especially if it will affect my relationship with my kid.

Just some friendly advice.

Kid comes first, new partner next. Don't get into a situation where it looks like you're competiting

people have done it with their kids for thousands of years.
let your hubby do it.
don't worry.
you don't have to do it.
when it's your own kids you may understand or feel differently.
it's normal to do this in a family.
and the bad thing about germs is?????
i have never known anyone to face harm from this behavior.
and all the parents i know basically did it.
