Trying to burn DVD on Sonic MY DVD?

When I try to add a file I get this msg.
Could not make a thumbnail.Make sure you have the appropriate decoder installed 47010
What this,and how do I find out. Thanx to all you clever people out there in Cyber Space.

The software was alreadyinstalled on the Comp. from new

First of all, let me say I have no experience of using the program Sonic MyDVD. What I would advise is that you download a codec pack, such as K-Lite Codec Pack, from the link given.

See if that helps.

Are you sure you have the right software installed for your DVD drive
