If you think homosexuals are so wrong, walk a mile in their shoes before you criticize them: try BEING a homosexual, then try to say it's a choice.
The christianazi cult thinks men raping women is perfectly acceptable ("god" raped mary, "sodom and gomorrah", etc.) but consentual relationships are a no-no. It shows just how perverted the cult is.
If you godbots want to use Leviticus, then so can anyone else: I'll bet you're wearing a cotton-polyester shirt or some other mixed fabric clothing (tackiness always comes with the territory of religion). Leviticus says I can stone you to death if you do; unless you're a hypochristian, you'll agree with that.

I think you can be a Christian no matter what your sexual orientation...I've read ads for those places that try to make gays/lesbians "straight," but they sound scary and I've heard that they don't give good results. Sexual orientation is a biological thing: it's wired in your brain. So it's not like someone can "choose" one orientation or the other. The only choice we can (and must) make is whether to accept ourselves as we were born or to live as someone else. Note: I'm a lesbian, so I'm a part of the homosexual community. I also group in up in a conservative, Southern Baptist family. Those testimonies make me feel sad and scared of people who might hurt me because of my sexual orientation. I'm happy being a lesbian--when I was living in denial of my orientation, I was miserable. Thanks for saying no bigotry, name caling, etc.

Deliverance is available to all peoples including the homosexual community. Preferance is the key.

How many priests, Ted Haggards and Mark Foleys do you need to see to perhaps question your beliefs? No matter how hard some of us try to ignore our sexual needs and preferences- we cannot.
If you're a true believer- then perhaps you should consider that God created gay people. It's men who are telling you that they are evil- not god (despite what it says in the old book... written and interpreted by men)

Jesus , always hanging out with his twelve male friends was probably gay. Religious homophobics have a bit of a problem with this fact. This is one of the reason they get nasty.

that kind of brainwashing has been going on since the eighties--the victims sadden me and the purveyors sicken me, and in this day and age you would think our society would have grown past this ignorance--but it hasn't--have a nice day

Hi there Peace Keeper. Good questions and I am anxious to hear the responses. I am not homosexual. I am a full gospel Christian, heterosexual, and married to a great Christian fella, the best. SOrry all you women that have great hubbies too. But, from the homosexuals I have talked to , I get this picture. A few that are truly seeking will allow truth in and receive healing. only a few. The lustful desires of the devil keep them running from truth and into further lust and sin. But, we must forgive them, and love them, they just do not KNOW yet, but they all willl at one point or another. God says ALL will one day know . and bow before Him. amen. But, many are so comfy living their life and not wanting to look at it or what God says that when they hear testimonies of change, the refute it all. If you admit only one person did change, then you must see it is not something to be born with that cannot be changed. and its easier to stay there and stay in sin than to look at it and seek help to change. and many have such guilt that they feel they could never be forgiven anyway. another lie of the devil. Our God is a big God, and will forgive anything if we ask, as long as we never convinced Him to go and leave us forever.. the unpardonable sin. You are right ,its not about hate or name calling or any of that. Its about the love God has for us all, and He loves us too much to leave any of us in our messed up conditions. But, we must want help and seek it to be changed. When the devil convinces someone they cant change, they give up, or convinces them they cant be forgive, they wont even try. devil pushes into a give up mode and they just give in to sin and basque in it. all the while , devil is laughint. WE must love the person , but not their sin. But it is wrong to ever let anyone think their particular sin is suddenly ok. we will be held accountible for all of it , as tho its our sin. Bible says just that. This is why we all need to seriously read and study the BIble and be in prayer. Show these folks that there is hope for their sin and ours too. Sin is sin. Sin of judging and hatred is just as much sin as being homosexual. Glad you used that word homosexual, and not GAY. Very few I have met are totally gay HAPPY. because down deep on some level, they all know, just dont want to know. God tells us He gives each of us a measure of faith to know, and its up to us to increase or faith by obedience, or decrease our faith in more continued sin. and no grace does not cover deliberate willful sin. Bible is clear on that. That idea is totally from the devil too. Without grace, none of us would make it. But, grace covers unknown sin or non deliberate sin. To know , even its just a vibe of a feeling, that something is wrong and to do it, is not covered by grace at all. Jesus didnt come that we should keep on sinning. His response to that was GOD FORBID.
If we truly love our fellow brothers and sisters as God does, we will tell them, even if it means rejection. Jesus is our example, and isnt that how HE preached?? YES> Today preachers are so wishy washy and into seeker friendly churches, cant say anything is wrong, so you dont offend anyone. Man thats now how Jesus preached. Picture Jesus saying I would like to prach on homosexuality today, but could be one here and I might run themm off. not even . He preached truth in love, but in boldness, and it was ppls choice then as it is now to receive or reject, we do it in love and kindness, but bold. Plus Jesus is coming soon, no time to tiptoe. Gospel is to be preached to all corners of the earth to any that may hear, and the convicting is left to God. Isnt our God a good God? Knowing its not my job to convict, is such a bondage breaker. For years I thought it was what I had to do. Total freedom in Jesus? YES. But, not freedom to sin. Freedom from sin and all the destruction it brings.
Forgive me for going on. My pastor says I am being called to preach. I believe it, and I find what I write I cant help myself. Just say the words GOd gives to me, and pray its accepted as truth. many will hear and many will not, just like they did to Jesus, so you know not everyone will hear me or any other Christian. ppl fear truth and change, only God can change that, if they allow it.
Good quesion, makes one think. Eager to see the responses you get. full gospel shirley
