When will Atheists realize you cannot change my beliefs? Why are you so intent on understanding people of faith? I think it's because you realize you are wrong and want us to convince you. False prophets are explained in The Bible. You will know Jesus when He returns. He will lead you to God if you call out to Him. Just do it!!!!

How about prophets whose prophesies have come true with 100 percent accuracy? Just because you don't have the same belief as another does not negate that person's belief. Have you ever witnessed demonic possession? Just because you never have does not mean it does not exist.

Religoin is based on emotional arguments, not reason. This is effective because humans have been emotional animals for far longer than rational ones. The best emotional arguments are touching tales for which evidence is scant and difficult or impossible to find. That's why they rely on old books. They can have "faith" on those old books without much chance of anybody bringing up any annoying evidence to the contrary. Of course, as we're learning more and more about our history and the world around us, the books are proving to be not old enough. It's just too easy these days to find errors in them.

O Messenger! let not those grieve thee who hasten to fall into disbelief - those who say with their mouths, 'We believe,' but their hearts believe not. And among the Jews too are those who would fondly listen to any lie - who listen for conveying it to other people who have not come to thee. They pervert words after their being put in their right places; and say, 'If you are given this, then accept it, but if you are not given this, then keep away from it.' And as for him whom God desires to try, thou shalt not avail him aught against God. These are they whose hearts God has not been pleased to purify; they shall have disgrace in this world, and in the Hereafter they shall have a severe punishment

Religion is man-made and has nothing to do with God.

All man-made stuff breaks and goes delusional. Your point?
