Do traditional longbows differ from recurve bows when it comes to arrow length? Usually I'd get a 68" recurve with a 28" arrow - but the longbow i'm looking at is only 60"....
ideas?

Arrow lengths depend on your draw length not the size of the bow! You need to be measured then add one to two inches for broadhead clearance.

The way we do this was cut the arrow to your draw length. What you can do for an easy way. Take a Yard Stick or Measuring tape. Hold one end with the string and draw the bow to your cheek, or, where you normally pull to. Then with the thumb and pointing finger hold the other end for a measurement. Add about 1 1/2-2 inches to allow the Point/Broad-head to clear the arrow rest and this give you a length. A Sport Shop can do this and make you custom arrows, or, just use the measurement to buy ready made that close to your length. This how we do it.
