South Korea's Post Delivery System. HELP DESPERATELY NEEDED!?

Question

Native Koreans help me out please. Currently, My Korean friend is in national service(army) and has given me his base address for me to mail him.

Does the location "Eun-pyung gu eung-am dong su kang" actually exist? This is not the full address, I have yet to state the building and unit number but I guess what I have just mentioned was a street name yeah? Umm.. Does Skyvill sounds like anything at all? Building? Street name?

Problems are,
#1: I ain't sure whether this place does exist.
#2: If it's a correct place and correct address, do I need to write the address in Korean language in order for my mail to reach him successfully?
#3: If it's correct address and I need to write it in their language, how the hell am I gona write when I don't know! Haha.

Koreans help me out here. Please. Correct me if I'm wrong. Thanks.


p/s: I couldn't reach him. It'll be a few weeks before he can speak to me on MSN again. (If you are wondering why can't I just ask him directly. -_-

Just write it using the alphabet, rather than Korean Hangeul.
It will get there. Korean addresses go like this:
Province, Ward, Neighborhood
Apartment Complex or District, House Number, Postal Code
Name

If you are mailing it from the US be sure to write Republic of Korea on it.
Eun-pyung gu eung-am dong su kang in Korean is
은병구 응암동 수강
but the su gang looks a little wierd.

-The answer is sure! It DOES EXIST.
Eun-pyung gu is located in Seoul.

-Yeah, It is better to write both of them, English and Korean.

-You can write 은평구 응암동 서강 스카이빌
스카이빌means Skyvill.
You have to write 서강 and 스카이빌 together cuz this is the name of apartment where your friend lives in.
But I guess you better write "seo kang" instead of "su kang".

Somethings not adding up here.
your friend is in Army, but gave you his Base, instead of Post address?
He doesn't have PO Box ?
Yes, there is location exist in Seoul.
Su Kang? Is that your friend's name?
In Korea, the name comes at last, when you write address on envelope.
otherwise, I don't know about that location.
As for as I know, the mails for service man and woman are deliver separately from civilians, and it travels within military post system.
Sorry, I guess the best thing for you to do, is wait to hear from him.
