Could someone please use the word Mosque in a sentence? I'm not sure if you say THE in front of it. Thx.

Yes, you do use the word "the" in front of it. "I am going to the mosque for prayers". "Do you want to come to the mosque with me?" "Where is the mosque located?" "I bumped into so-and-so at the mosque today."

You're right. You can't write it without the "the" but you can if it's in the beginning of the sentence. It's no problem.
I went to the mosque or Mosques are beautifully built.

the mosque are not just places for prayers. Mosques are—in modern terminology—community centers.
mosques have many roles,some of them are:
1. A place for prayers for all
2. A place for socialization
3. A place for calling to Islam
4. A place for celebration
5. A place for meetings and deliberation
