In the past couple of days i've noticed a change in my cat. She isn't playful, she sleeps alot, she won't let us touch her. If we do touch her she growls and hisses. We thought she might be prgnant because she has nipples that are bigger than normal.

You need to get her to the vet ASAP sounds like she could have a wound or pain somewhere and protecting herself. If she is pregnant this will be confirmed. Good luck

well i think that she is pregnant. Ask these things to your-self

-before did she go outside alot because if she did that means she was finding her mate

- does she sleep alot if she does that means that she is tired and she want to get some rest she is stressed

-is she protecting her stomach if she does not let anyone touch her stomach that means she is tring to proctect her babies

-are her nipples ig that means that she is prepering for breast feeding

-when she is up does she go back and back with glaring eyes that means she is protecting her self from the other cats

-if she take baths constaly ( licks her self ) that means she is getting ready

well those are the some of the things to look out for. But what you should really do is take her to the vet. There is 90 % that she is pregnant, if not she is very sick

good luck

She may be fighting off some kind of infection that is zapping her energy. Even though she growls and hisses, you should try to check all over her body for any cuts or particularly sensitive areas. Watch how much she is eating and drinking too as those can be additional signs of health problems. If you have a vet that you regularly take her to, call and ask their opinion.
Keep a close eye on you poor baby and take her to a vet if anything seems to get more serious.

She could be pregnant, but it may be something more. Is she eating ok, and eliminating normally? Any change of behavior could indicate a problem with your kitty. Don't be afraid to take her to the vet and have her checked out---even if she's pregnant.

P.S. If she hasn't had all of her shots, and has been exposed to other cats, do not take any chances. Go to the vet right away.

There could be any number of things wrong; a vet visit is definitely in order. Could be as simple as a fever; same as people, cats get cranky and sleep a lot when they have a fever, and tend to lose their appetite as well. I wouldn't expect pregnancy to cause her to hiss or growl.

She could be pregnant but take her to a vet to be sure... serious internal problems could also be the cause....

Take her to the vet. If she's not pregnant, something is wrong. If she is, you need to know how to look after her in this situation.
