It's a free market and regardless of what your or public opinion happens to be, there will always be a seller and buyer.
I agree with the majority there's better juice. But for what it's worth, the going rate is around $300.

I think you are asking what the market rate is for a bottle from the 1985 vintage and not if I personally want to buy it. The 1985 is actually a very good year for Dom Perignon and while the wine is a bit over rated, it is still a good champagne and if it has been stored well, will be able to generate a few dollars for you. Try the website below for comparative prices and for a place to sell it in an auction format similar to ebay.

the fact is that popular culture has created this image that cause it's expensive it's good. So all these rappers and pop stars that keep talking about Dom Perignon are ignorant because the fact is there are much better tasting things. so to answer your question I would pay the large sum of $0.00.

Minimum of $700 + Canadian. Though I would never buy it. There's better tasting cheaper wine out there. I don't account for class or popularity when deciding on a wine that goes best with dinner.

21 year old champagne is past it's optimum time. After nine years, even good champagne starts to fade. I would by a good more recent vintage.

No matter how much I like my bubbly, I do not like Dom. There are many better sparklers out there. Dom is nasty.

Zero. I like wine but not so much I'd pay a small fortune for it.
