They are two different personalities is all. Pope John Paul II is a very hard act to follow. I have to give Pope Benedict credit for even accepting the job because he knew people would say this but, he also knew that it was God's will and that came first with him. He is a sweet person.

I like Pope Benedict.He is just as passionate about spreading the Gospel as his predecessor,however his style is different having come from an academic background.

Hi, they are two different personalities, Pope Benedict is a very humble man and not as outgoing as Pope John Paul was, but he will bring his own special gifts to the Papacy as the last Pope did.

I could care less either way. But if I look at a picture of him and John Paul II, John has the "Pope" look.

I think he is just a man and they roll is not of God. I feel sorry for him but yes liked the last pope better

I don't like him. He's an ex-Hitler Youth, he has no charisma, you never see him and when you do, it's because he's put his foot in it as with that ill-advised speech he made about Muslims.
