Is it possible 2 open credit with my federal tax # instead of my ssn? my credit is not good.?

I don't want the 'bad" credit to show and I do not want the two credit files to get mixed or come together.

If you are a sole proprietor, they will ask for your SS#. Your tax ID # is just something that identifies you to the IRS.

No. It would be considered fraud.
Your Federal Id # is for business use only.
