what is the best brand of ham to smoke? im thinking about making it for xmas dinner instead of doing the whole turkey thing. and i want it to be really good. so please give me the brand of ham and what grocery store i could buy it at.

I think any brand is good. I like the honey cured, it is great!
If you cook it in a Reynolds oven bag it's tender and juicy.

Brands may vary by your location. ..You could buy a spiral ham, from Honey Baked Ham Company, and then you just need to reheat it. They have amazing flavor.

the fresh hunted bleeding is the best, ask any hunter around.very importent to know it is ...non kosher
