your blood vessels could have broken. you need to consult a doctor because have bruses and they are not a result of gettin hit is a sign of leukemia. I don't mean to scare you but if you do have bruses and have not hit your self then go see the doctor.

This must seem ridiculous, but sometimes you hit yourself against something in your sleep.

Also, women seem more prone to bruising whilst it is that time of the month. (I usually get bruises for no reason then).

Low platlet count can cause bruises.am sure there is other reasons.
