At first they were in neck...no other symptoms other than tingling on side of head. I must add that I have a sore neck and sometimes a sore back. My headaches are in my neck and lower part of my head. Can the tingling and neck ache be related??

yes yes, I know see a doctor, I was only asking if the two could be related. Just had a root canal yesterday because I had a huge abcess on tooth and thought this was causing head aches but today they are still there. Head ache is not bad enough to take advil, only tingling sightly on left side...

Yeah they are did you pull any of your muscles in that area by chance? That will give you headaches not to mention if your under tension that is the one spot for a headache to occur.

absolutely, welcome to the world of the bad back and neck people. saying this it could also be a stoke in extreme circumstance. also lack of good sleep.lack of fluid. too many cigarettes.
bad eyesight. reaction to medication.pollutants like lead fumes from soldering. i try many things like lying stretched out across a queensized bed on my back with my head bent over the side of the bed stretched towards the floor. making extreme faces, while if you can -moving your ears backward and forward to move all the muscles in your face and head. also massaging your head. tilting head backwards and forwards and side to side. dont ever recommend neck massage as it can rupture an artery and kill you or leave your brain starved of oxygen! also stress can give headaches. jaw problems too. could say it related to the neck i get that all the time. my headaches can last upto 3 days. the tingling worries me though. anti-inflamatries help even aspirine has anti-inflamatry effects. ps the root canal can cause an infection that can go to the brain this is serious and should be watched. also pulling out back teeth can cause permanent face paralysis, because the facial nerves run near the roots.- i"m just a bundle of joy ,arn't i!

First, don't ask Yahoo answers for answers on someting that your life or health may depend on.
Second, I am not a doctor, but you would need to explain more things to a doctor.
How long have you had this problem. Have you been doing anything differently or something that might explain this with your neck?
When do you feel this, all the time.
Do you get any exercise? You could have something like arthritis or inflammation or a nerve problem.
Go to a real doctor, and in case it is something bad, do it soon.

Headache is a pain in the head, scalp or neck. Headaches can be
caused by minor problems like eyestrain, lack of coffee or more
serious reasons like head injury, brain tumors, encephalitis and
meningitis. Taking painkillers continuously can have harmful side
effects, so it is better to modify your lifestyle. More information

you know i had the same problem. The doctors will tell you to go see a chiropractor (if thats how its spelled) to see if maybe you have some muscle issues in ur lower neck. Advil really seems to help me for my headaches....

If you have any sort of trouble touching your chin to your chest, you should get it checked out, as that can be a sign of meningitis infection. (called nuchal rigidity) Any headache accompanied with vision changes should be checked immediately, as that can be signs of a stroke. Could also just be a tension headache, since it seems to be moving down your neck and back. I would get it checked out by your doctor just to make sure.

You may be geting a stress headache, or even some sort of pinched nerve. The best thing to do is to consult a doctor, or a nurse

Take some Tylenol, maybe soak in the bath. You can get a very cold wash rag and put it on the back of your neck. That also helps.

You need an MRI,it is painless, why are you suffering. Were you in an accident? It could be just a pinched nerve, they can give you therapy. Don't be afraid, just imagine how good it will feel to be free of pain.
