eat less...
exercise more
Sorry but you can't zone body fat loss. It goes on and comes off all the same way. It's like snow. Snow comes down and lays where it falls.... When it melts it melts the same way. the last on is the first off.
Hope that helps

You can't choose where your body gains or loses weight, but you can control what you eat and how much you exercise. And, the reason you have extra fat on your tummy is the same reason you've got shapely hips.
If you only want to lose your belly, you are going to lose some fat on your hips and butt, too. So instead of working your stomach muscles (which doesn't change your appearance much unless you have very low fat) work on your legs, hips and butt.
The best way to start out is to walk, or ride a bike. Running is good if you can. Work up to 30-45 minutes, 4-5 times a week, working hard enough that you are breathing heavy. If you are just starting out, that is enough to build some muscle and get in shape. And since muscle burns calories 24/7, you can pig out on ice cream and pizza once in a while without worrying about getting a fat tummy. That muscle will also help keep your butt in shape, while losing weight on your belly.
Keep a food diary. Write down everything you eat, and how much. If you aren't losing any pounds or inches, then start adding up those calories to see whether you really are eating as much as you should. People don’t always notice how much they eat, but they notice every pound in the mirror, or in that swimsuit. Writing down your eating keeps you focused on eating healthy.

One thing I've always heard is that "spot training" doesn't work, when you want to lose fat off one area as a whole. Just cutting the amount of calories you take in while upping the amount you burn is a good formula to learn. As for abs, can't go wrong with the basic crunch or try standing up, feet apart, touch your right fingertips to your left toes, then do the opposite and repeat. That should work out the obliques, while the crunch will work the rectus abdominis (6-pack)

Try Canadian Air Force Exercises ( known as 5BX ). The book is easily available. It only takes 10 minutes per day, but does tighten up the midriff among other benefits.
