I've been in the same position before. When I was sixteen and going out with this guy, we both waited 8 months before we built the courage to kiss. Our first kiss was really awkward and I actually broke up with him soon after because I realised that I felt uncomfortable with it because I only want him as a mate.

If you really do want to kiss though, try being more cuddly. Kiss him on the forehead, peck him on the neck, get more comfortable and snuggly. Then you'll be snogging before you know it.

Good luck with it!

Go on a date, not a regular run of the mill date but something exciting and different where you can have a lot of fun like ice skating or skiikng, you will both be able to have a laugh, perhaps at each others expense but anyway, it will help you relax in each others company and then perhaps the kiss will come naturally! Best of luck :o)

Like you said in the question.... YOU BOTH NEED TO JUST RELAX and realize that it isn't that big of a deal. Try giving each other a lip "peck" or two. Then if you need to, laugh, or look into each others eyes, or hold hands. Then try it again, and make it last longer. You don't need to have a 4 minute open mouth frencher every time you kiss. Just do what feels natural and you will be ok.

Yeah when I was 14 I couldn't manage more than a peck on the lips with the guy I was seeing. That was once in about 2 months! oh I was so sweet an innocent back then! x Dazman don't go encouraging her to have sex and all that she's probably only a young girl and it takes time to build confidence.

i think both of u wanna rush into kissing eachother. The best think for u guys is to wait and let everything flow naturally. Let the chemistry work and dont try to force urself in to it.

Plenty of time for that. Take things slow then you will both relax.

something isn't right and your feeling it, thats why your not comfortable with him....maybe you need to really step back and revisit the reason you like him.
